Tora! Tora! Tora! That’s a great show. Since those guys are from the CAF, you can’t go to an air show in Texas without seeing them. Although the last time I saw their show was in 2014 . I’ve been having trouble getting to air shows lately. Too many damned conflicts.

Yup, Tora Tora Tora was a blast. I wish I had a better lens than an 18-55mm, lol. What was really spooky was driving on the highway the next day while they were running their show again and seeing it all happen from across town.

I took those shots with a 70-200 on a crop sensor body, so it’s effectively 112-320mm. That lens also set me back about $1200. Tamron makes an 18-270 for APS-C that is pretty good, and only about $400 (I think).
